Yoga in Cambridge offers hatha yoga for adults. Hatha yoga is ideal for men and women of all ages and fitness. It is a fantastic way to strengthen and tone the body, leaving you feeling energized and relaxed. Through regular yoga practise, you will gain greater flexibility and range of movement in your muscles and joints, releasing stiffness, improving posture and freeing the body from aches and pains. Breathing exercises help to calm or energize the body and mind. During relaxation, the body and mind release tension and stress, leaving you with a greater sense of well being.

Yoga in Cambridge runs: Drop in classes and Yoga for Women classes.

Drop In classes: Saturday 10.30 - 12.00
Cambridge Bodyworks Pilates Centre, Unit 4, Dales Brewery, Gwydir Street, Cambridge, CB1 2LJ. MAP

A General yoga class for anyone who wants to improve their flexibility, strength and relaxation, this course is ideal for beginners and those with yoga experience. Each session will include breathing exercises, warm up movements, sun salutations, postures and a guided relaxation.  A range of postures will be taught through the course to encourage strength and flexibility in different parts of the body, such as standing postures, balances, forward bends, back bends, twists, seated postures and inverted postures. The postures will be modified or extended depending on each person's flexibility and strength. By the end of the class, you will feel more energised, focused and relaxed. The class also aims to develop a sense of balance, inner focus and relaxation. These classes are taught by Sylvie Tomlin. Email Sylvie on sylvie.tomlin@virgin.net for more information.
